The body of a man shot dead moments ago in Kumba has been taken to the Kumba District Hospital Mortuary.
The circumstances of his death remain unknown at the moment, but sources say it is not unconnected to the armed conflict in the North West and South West regions.
“… We are still trying to figure out the perpetrators and the identity of the said person,” our source indicates, adding that security forces have been all over the hospital since the body was brought in.
“It was a single shot, so surely it was a targeted shooting,” our source in the hospital adds.
