A man has cheated death in Nkongsamba, Moungo Division in the Littoral region of Cameroon after raping a 6 year old child. The 47-year-old man allegedly raped his friends daughter yesterday Monday 12, October.
According to information from neighbors, the little girl rushed into the room to take what her uncle bought for her from shopping only for neirghbors to hear her cry but didn't pay attention but that rather called the attention of her mother who rushed and discovered that her child has been raped and abandoned.
"The man later said he didn’t know what had come over him," one of the neighbors recounts
As the little girl was being rushed to the hospital, neighbors roughly handled the man before handing him over to the police.
This is the second announced case of rape in the Littoral region just in 2 weeks time, after a girl was allegedly raped to death.
