Six suspected murders involved in the murder of Miss Uwaila Vera, a 21-year-old university of Benin (UNIBEN) female student have been arrested by the police in Edo state.
Witnesses say one of the suspected killers, Uligbe Collins confessed that he's landlady, Mrs Ade Mary, gave them N1Million to kill the student. He went further to explain that the landlady had instructed him to wipe Uwaila's private part with a towel so that she could use it for ritual purposes for an increase in her business.
The Nigerian Tribune reports that, the state's commissioner of police, Mr Johnson Kokumo investigated the suspected landlady on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in the presence of the entire population present at the scene if what she was accused of was true? Fortunately she denied the allegations levied against her but thanks to the post mortem results which confirmed that Miss Omozua was actually raped before she was murdered to death.
