On Tuesday October 27, police arrested a Buea based pastor, pastor Samuel E Molombe, head of Christ Light Assemblies . On Sunday, October 18, 2020 as he tried escaping to dubai after duping people through a multilevel marketing scheme. He was picked by the police while some of his colleagues escaped.

On Tuesday October 27, police arrested a Buea based pastor, pastor Samuel e molombe, head of Christ light assemblies.  on Sunday, October 18, 2020, he tried escaping to dubai after duping people  through a   multilevel marketing scheme but he coundn’t as he was accused and arrested that same day over misuse of investments funds worth the sum of over 800million investments contributed by multiple investors who trusted the network marketing scheme who promised to double their investments within 30days saying that, when you invest,  a 100% return of investments comes back to you and they called you to confirm your account number each time a profit on investments was supposed to be sent. Recount from the first investor told us that,  he doesn’t know what part the famous pastor played in the company’s problems but social media went wild when images of him were showing  him handcuffed among the group of 5 arrested persons. Witness said, “the Apostle of God was tasked with the buying of a building for the company 700 million whereas findings proofed that he bought the building for 200million. Another investor we spoke to was still in pain over the company’s lockdown since Tuesday October 28 was supposed to be his biggest pay day, he lamented saying,  “I really can’t say.. I’m still in shock with TBY ,they were to begin pay today only for us to reach there, they are telling us a different story that the government confiscated thier properties And that the government says they will do the pay of all of us who invested but  we are to go to Douala to collect our money at the police station at Bonanjo” . . Meanwhile  the team is yet to be placed before the press for their own story  of what happened to the funds. Police authories are yet to confirm press confrontation . The founders spent their first night in custody and the police released images of them with cards on their chest, labelled with their names and ages….
