The Archbishop of the Douala Metropolitan diocese, Samuel kleda has told Cameroonians not to see political parties as gods. He said ''We cannot oblige anybody to be part of any political party''.
He went further to adress the press saying that, the fact that civil servants are being forced to be of the rulling party is not right but because its Cameroon, one can be appointed by the state wether a civil servant or not its forced to support the ruling party which is what has to be changed and the people should subject itself to change.
Report has it that, in a said video of the Catholic priest, he made known that everyone has a choice and must not be forced to belong to any political party.
