IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu files suit against Kenyan government

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafran (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has filed a suit against the Kenyan government.

The Nigerian activist is dragging the government of Kenya to court for his rearrest and repatriation to Nigeria.

The Special Counsel to the IPOB leader, Aloy Ejimakor disclosed this via his Twitter page on Thursday, September 16.

He tweeted:

“UPDATE : Extraordinary Rendition : Onyendu’s legal team has filed a suit in Kenya against the Kenyan government”.

The activist was recently rearrested by police officials of Kenyan and was repatriated to Nigeria.

Kanu instituted a case against them through his legal team.

Reacting to the report, the Kenyan High Commissioner, Wilfred Machage refuted the claims of the government arresting Kanu.

The Indigenous People of Biafra has continued to accuse the Kenya government of playing a pivotal role in Kanu’s arrest.

Kanu is expected to appear in court in October as the he Nigeria government charged him to court with treason.
