Inhabitants of Sodikombo pk13 neighborhood in the Douala 5 sub Division are living in fear as a bridge linking them to Lendi and Mbangue has ceded to the rains.
For the past two days, the bridge is unpassable even for pedestrians. They add that two years ago, houses around the bridge were destroyed by the Douala city council in a bid to build something better.
Witness recounts that, due to current happenings of floods in the Far North region of Cameroon, Buea and other places, leaves them in fear and plead on the government to do something in order to safe their homes and properties.
