In Bamboutos Division were the installation of the first ever female Mayor, Madame Tsangue Gisele, Mayor of Babadjou municipal council was on Saturday, November 2020 installed alongside her team, Nolabo Paul and Menguou Jules as first and second deputies respectively at the Babadjou ceremonial ground.
The event was presided over by the senior divisional officer for Bamboutos, Ernest Ewango Budu who saw the presence of administrative, traditional and religious authorities of the west and Northwest regions of Cameroon and that in the days ahead, Galim, Batcham and Mbouda municipal executives will be officially installed.
