Eto’o scores brace on debut for Cameroon

Etienne Eto’o Pineda has been voted man of the match following his impressive display on his debut for Cameroon in the ongoing U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania.

The son of football legend and former emblematic captain of the lions   Samuel Eto’o Fils scored twice and provided an assist as Cameroon overpowered Mozambique 4-1. Cameroon’s third goal was scored by Kevin-Prince Milla.

The match counted for the last group game of the tournament. Cameroon finished top of Group C with 9 points from three group games. In the other Group C game, Uganda defeated the hosts Mauritania 2-1.

The quarter-finals of the competition will be played midweek.
