A Catholic priest identified as Labé Evariste Takougang has perished in a ghastly accident at Maleke Mbanga in the Littoral Region of Cameroon.
The incident took place today August 17, 2022.
The priest said to be from the Diocese of Bafoussam, was on a journey with another priest when the sad incident occurred.
According to reports, the Catholic Priests had the first accident and were being rushed to the hospital for treatment since there were still alive.
On their way to the hospital, they had another ghastly accident which led to their sudden death of one.
The Catholic Diocese of Bafoussam has confirmed the loss in a release signed by Msgr Zéphirin MOUBE today August 17.
The body of the deceased was taken to the mortuary while the survivor priest was rushed to the hospital where he is battling between life and death.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are however yet to be known.
