The Sud Cameroon Hevecam rubber plantation in the South Region of Cameroon is expected to create about 3 thousand jobs for young Cameroonian youths.
Chineese state oil trader, Sinochem bought a 51 percent stake earlier this year which urged the rubber firm to boost otput to meet what it expects will be strong demand from China.
The Industrial rubber plantation employs over 5,486 people with their family members, supporting a community of over 25,000 inhabitants.
Meanwhile, speaking during a working visit employment and vocational training Minister, Issa Tchiroma Bakary said, the goal is expected to be archieved within the next four years.
In response to this by some Cameroonian youths who took it upon on Social media, thanking the Head of State and the Minister for this great opportunity to come and that they wll be patiently waiting for it while some others criticized, the time was too long.
